Heya!
So I have two English angoras and have noticed large dandruff flakes while grooming. I fear they’re mites so I did some research, and started with a treatment of agrimectin. My questions are as follows…
1. Will this treatment process be sufficient?
2. Should I also shear them to help get rid of the wool mites?
3. They live in a large hutch I built made of wood and linoleum floors- do I need to treat the hutch?
4. The hutch is not climate controlled so I haven’t sheared them due to winter temps (live in Maryland). Should I shear them, would a heat lamp (think chicken coop) be sufficient?
5. Is the wool I’ve collected this far trash?
Thanks in advance!
