This is Winnie she is my long haired cinnamon banded syrian hamster. Phew try and say that ten times fast! She loves people food, this is the first time she's had ramen noddles. Enjoy!

hehe maybe she thinks they're string and she's saving them in her cheekies for nesting material? She's ADORABLE!!! Really makes me want a hammie again. Maybe I'll get one for my classroom next year.

Hamsters wouldn't be very good for a classroom as they generaly sleep all day. Winnie sleeps until about 7:00 pm. Most Syrians get very grumpy if you wake them up before they want to, plus if you were to do it on a regular basis the hamster would be at risk of getting wet tail from stress.

I think syrians are the best hamsters and are the least likely to bite, as long as you don't try to pick them up when they are sleeping.
