Hi all!As some of you know, I am the director of a wildlife hospital in New York. We recently had some cool stuff going on, so I thought I'd share.
This is a rescue I did of a Great-horned Owl that was caught in a soccer net 2 Saturdays ago. That's my hubby helping me out:

And, a week later, she was ready to be released!:

If anybody is on Facebook and wants to join our group, we would love to have you! We're trying to reach more people, so invite your friends too!
Just search for Volunteers for Wildlife- Wildlife Rehabilitation and click on the Page one (not the Group, as the Page one is updated more frequently).

I hope you enjoy the videos, it was a nice story. The homeowners took down the soccer net too, told their kids it was too dangerous

Enjoy!
(those of you on Goosemoose, you'll see this twice ;))

That's awesome! I took an exotic avian husbandry class here at Cornell last semester and we had several demonstrations from the raptor program and rescues not unlike this one.
They're definitely magnificent creatures!

That was so cool thank you so much for sharing!

Wow, what an incredible creature.

I'm going to be volunteering with Greenwood wildlife rehabilitation pretty soon here. I'm excited and thankful for this opportunity!
