I thought since we were on the subject of loves as far as viewing pleasure, I would post something about movies.

As far as mine, the list is enormous, so I will list mostly actors and directors.

Anything with:

-Nicolas Cage
-John Travolta
-Tom Cruise
-Tom Hanks
-Sir Anthony Hopkins
-Jodie Foster
-Harrison Ford (though there is a movie set in Paris from the mid-late 80's that was HORRIBLE...think it's called Frantic)

(I'm absolutely certain there are MANY more where that came from, butthat's about all I can think of right now with my daughter distractingme...lol!!)

As far as directors, I like:

-Quentin Tarantino
-Ron Howard
-Penny Marshall
-George Lucas
-Steven Spielberg
-Tim Burton

As far as actual movies, I like:

Sleepless in Seattle
Look Who's Talking (the first one was the best)
Turner & Hooch

Oh man, who am I kidding...I won't be able to list them all...

You guys list what you like...when it comes to listing fav movies, I always wind up forgetting so many!!

Here's a few of the huge list of movies I like:

The Crow

Princess Mononoke

Dead Poets' Society

Sin City

Princess Bride

Space Balls

anything by Monty Python

My Neighbor Totoro

All Wallace and Gromit films

a lot of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee films

Here's what I can think of right now...

All Harry Potter (especially the ones directed by Christopher Columbus **I love that name!**)

All Wallace and Gromit

Polar Express (great family movie)

Spider Man (1 and 2)

Zathura

Anything Laurel and Hardy or Three Stooges

...and there's probably lots more stuck somewhere in the back of my brain.

Ooh...forgot about Dead Poet's Society...GOOD ONE!!

Another one I really loved...Hitchhiker's Guide to theGalaxy. Very original, very imaginative. Mydaughter loved it so much, we watched it about seven or eight timesbefore mailing it back to NetFlix!! And ya know...it didn'tmatter how many times I saw it, I loved it every time!!

The original was a Japanese Movie called Shall We Dansu? (1996).
A successful but unhappy Japanese accountant finds the missing passionin his life when he begins to secretly take ballroom dance lessons witha beautiful dance teacher.

The English version Shall We Dance? (2004)stars Richard Gere, JenniferLopez, and Susan Sarandon.
The Hollywood copy in trying to "Americanize" thegreat Japanese film loses alot of of the flair andcharm, but still is a good movie to see.I preferred the original.

Rainbows! :)

Oh yeah!! Hmm...think we might just rent both. Good ol' NetFlix!! :D
