What Color is the Buck & Expected kit colors?

Hi there! So I breed American chinchillas and just for the sake of having a meat litter that is a bit different, we're breeding to a Rex buck in hop we get some interesting colored kits, rather then having them look all the same...

Anyways, my friend has a buck and I can't tell if he is a Broken Blue or a Broken Lilac.

Also, I did some research and found an article that says this is the Am chin genotype:

With This info, what color kits do you think we'll get?

This buck appears to be blue, and the kits will most likely be chestnut/opal or black/blue. Other colors are possible depending what the rex carries, but that would be my guess.

Also, just a note to be careful about mentioning rabbits for meat purposes on this forum. The membership is mostly pet owners, and this type of discussion usually isn't tolerated. I think most of us who raise rabbits understand it as a necessity, so I understand your intention. But, that's how it goes!
