Task Force
Everyone here has replied to my posts helping me make my buns healthier and helping me learn what I should be suppling then and what is better for them. One thing I have not looked much into is treats. What I have read is not to buy treats from the pet store. Which I currently do. My rabbits don't like fruit so I don't know what I could give them as a treat that I would know what was in it. I looked on the back of the pet store treats and it doesn't say.
This is them being spoiled and it being easier for me but they don't like to be picked up. So when it is time for bed I get in the closet that holds their treats and they run to bed. That is how I get them to bed every night. This has been their routine for years and I would hate to change it as it will probably mean me chasing buns around. Is there something else I can give them beside store bought treats? Are store bought treats ok? I tried the yogurt treats and they did not like them. Also greens won't work because that is what they get for dinner at the same time. They just won't come to bed for greens.
Thanks for your help. You all have been so helpful in helping me make healthier choices for my buns. So far because of your help hay is being changed, water changed, litter changed, and type of greens I feed changed. This is the last thing I have to tackle.
Thanks Amy
