Well she is on her way to being big..... about 8-9 pounds at 6 months old! Hi I'm Jessica, I live with my family in Florida. We have 2 daughters, 2 spoiled cats, turtles and fish. Many years back we had the best bunny in the world, Cookie, who lived with our family until she passed away from old age. She was a house bunny and had free roam of the house (and totally spoiled!). We were so heart broken when she passed that it has been almost 6 years since, and we JUST adopted another one today. So meet our new sweetheart, Hopscotch, aka Bunny!

We adopted Hopscotch after doing searches for weeks for the perfect bunny for us, we wanted a rescue or a bunny in need of a home. Hopscotch is a 6 months old,Flemish Giantand needed a home because her family lost their jobs, have to move out of state and couldn't take Hopscotch along. (They were heartbroken.) Hopscotch will be living along with us in the house, and after just a few hours she is already jumping in laps and giving her new family kisses!

I will be posting a bunch, and our family is SO excited with our new addition. These are photos I just took from my phone, so better ones to come, I am a picture taking freak.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Yes we are SO excited! Our cats are still trying to figure out what in the world she is, and it is SO funny! I am excited to find a place that loves their rabbits so very much, such a cute and very informative site!

Yeah - another flemish giant on the forum that I can watch from afar.

Welcome to the forum - to both you and Hopscotch!

I love the big bunnies...

Wow you are all so nice, thank you again! I am off to see if I can find pictures of the "dainty" 15 pds and Serena, the 18lb lap bunny. Just to see what we are maybe headed for. ha ha ha

Wow I am so in love with her! lol My buns are both under 3lbs and I have been thinking of getting a large bunny too lol

Let me welcome you to Rabbits Online, my name is Dave and I am a moderator on the forum. So if I can be of any help please let me know. This is a terrific website for rabbits and their slaves, not only is it very active but also friendly. I am so glad you’re here and I know you will enjoy it.

Beautiful bunny! Like Tinysmom said its great to have another flemish on the forum. I am a slave to several spoiled ones.

Many bunny's recommend their slaves to this site so we may learn of others methods to keeping our furry masters happy.

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.

I have listed some links I thought you might find interesting:

*For reference the Library section

*To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

*Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

*Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How To Bond With Your Bunny.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo. Many people also use Photobucket. You just copy the img file and paste it into the post.

I am glad you have joined rabbits online and I look forward to seeing you around.
