Just recently I realized that my bunny has lost a lot of weight and along with that he has crust in his ears and a little bit of a runny nose. He seems really weak and Im really scared because we cant get a vet appointment for a other 2 weeks. Is there anything we can do at home??
thank you everyone:pray:

Giving the condition of the rabbit, I'm surprised your vet didn't give you any recommendation for care or get you in sooner. You may want to go to the emergency vet recommended by your rabbit-savvy vet.

Here is a list of rabbit savvy vets in PA

Also, it may be worth you sending a message on here to MiniLopHop, who may know of a really good bunny vet right near you who could get you in.

I'd call around, there's got to be someone who can get you in sooner than later.

What is the crust like in the ears? Like dark crust? What's the bunnies diet and since when has it been losing all this weight? Any diet changes? What color nasal discharge and is there sneezing?

two weeks is an absurdly long wait time for an obviously ill bunny! I'd definitely keep looking for a vet who can see your bunn sooner... crossing my fingers that you're able to find one!

I'm so sorry I just saw this post. I use Aardvark Animal Hospital and love Dr Thomas. The problem is that she is on vacation this week.

Sophie needed to be seen right away so we went to Downingtown Animal Hospital. They got her in same day. I liked the vet, but still prefer my normal since she has rabbits and keeps up with everything.

I would highly recommend going in today if possible.

If you are desperate you can go to Radnor, but they are twice the price and I don't think they are as up on rabbits as I would like.
