Okay I have a whole weekend to blow, so I decided as this is my one chance to have some free time I'll do something I've always wanted. SoI'm teaching myself how to make a website, and boy is it a LOT of fun!! Anyway I have a couple questions about it,

1. It says that you need to have anouther website to attach your website too, do you guys know of one you can use for free?
2. How do you get hyperlinks too work? I can't figure that one out.

I had my free website at Yahoo! Geocities. Just go to Yahoo.com and click on Geocities. I only know HTML code but Geocities has an easy web page builder site to show you step by step.

There is also http://www.freewebs.com/ and once you make an account there is about 100+ layouts you can choose from. The powerful wizard thing on there takes you through all the linking and HTML things like that.

My first free site was through free webs, then geocities.

Now I have my own paid hosting site. Starting out free is a good way. Many people did.

I love freewebs. I started a rat website, but have yet to finish it. It's mostly to advertise my hammock sets for sale and such .
