Is it okay to use cat litter in the bottom of the pull out pans? Their cages have wire bottoms so they wouldn't be actually sitting in the litter. I'm just worried about the dust from the litter...today Caiman was sneezing a lot so I'm hoping that he isn't getting sick or that the dust is causing it. Anyone else use cat litter?

Thanks!

Lindsey

I wouldn't use cat litter, dust would be bad for them, plus if it's scented at all that can cause irritation to bunny noses as well. You can use recycled paper litter, or wood pellets which are cheaper. I use Woody Pet, which is about $5.50 for a 35 or 40 pound bag. Unless the prices have gone up again since I was at the store. :(
