PICTURE WARNING!!!!
recently found out my rabbit Everest has Urine burn. He isn't in a small cage and I clean his litter box every other day. Although he has never really peed in the litter box. I do know he sits and stands in his pee a lot.. My friend who has had rabbits her whole life help me diagnose him and we gave him a butt bath to clean all the pee (HE WAS NOT GIVEN A BATH JUST HIS BUTT, HE WAS DRIED AND KEPT IN A WARM SPACE FOR A WHILE) we also cut of any hair mats on his butt. Is there anything I can do to stop him from standing in his pee. And how to further prevent urine burn?

Does he not use his litter box and that's why he's standing in his urine? If so, then you are going to need to change things in his set up so he can't be standing in his urine.

Though if the urine scalding isn't just on the bottom of his feet but is on the upper underside of his legs, there's a possibility that if he is dribbling urine or incontinent, then he could have a urinary tract infection, which would require a visit to a rabbit savvy vet and the proper antibiotic.

He Sometime uses the box. Im definitely scheduling a vet appointment but that would require me to drive 2 hours away which I don't have a problem with I was just wondering if there's anything that I could possibly do at home before I make that drive with him.
