update and age question...

Well we got the new black bunny home and she is doing well.

I'm trying to figure out her age and you would think it would be a simple thing.

Her parents live at a nursing home and had babies. Someone from there took one of the babies but couldn't keep it. The woman we got it from said the rabbit was three weeks when she got it and that she had it for a month.

Is it even possible for them to take a three week old baby from the mother and have it survive without formula?

If this is true the rabbit would only be 7 weeks and she doesn't look like a 7 week old to me. She doesn't have any baby fuzz left on her at all. Oh and I weighed her and she is 2.4 pounds.

That definitely looks older then a 7 week old rabbit... It looks quite a lot like Korr in our hopping club, but he's mix so I can't really be of help. Sorry

it looks like a black polish to me. Black and broken are the most common colors. Max weight for a polish is 3 1/2 pounds
