Hi Guys

Sorry to be one to say, but Tucker and Cali went to the bridge on 2nd Jan. Tucks was 10 and Cali was 7

Those of you friends with Carolyn on FB will already know this.

RIP Tucker and Cali. Now your together again with Fauna. Be good with Uncle Buck until your reunited with mommy.

I did know, Zee, thanks for posting here.

I feel so sad for Carolyn - they were her babies, and she must be so lost without them. But they had such a good, loving life with her. They couldn't have had a better mom.

I know Buck will be happy to have his friends with him!

I knew, too.

My wife told me about it after seeing it on FB.

Very sad indeed. :(

OMG both on the same day. That is so sad.

It is indeed an end of an era with those four gone ....

Thank you all. It was extremely difficult. It's been a year and a half and I still find myself calling out for Tucker. I just recently adopted a 3 year old bunny and named her Ruby. She's very sweet, and will fill her own little spot in my heart, however, no bun or one can ever take the place of the other babies I've had. Unfortunately you all know what it's like. Much love to the ones that reached out here. I look forward to the day when we're all reunited.

I had been thinking about Tucker recently and wondered how you and the bunns were doing. Heartbroken to hear the news of your losses Carolyn.

You're such a sweetheart, Nurse Nock! Thank you for your sentiments. Cali couldn't take the loss of Fauna and she went down to skin and bones over the months after Fauna's death. The damage to Tucker's system over the kidney stones years ago seemed to cause him further complications and he either had a tumor or cancer. Doc said if he was his rabbit, he'd put him down because he would've lived the last month of so of his life in pain. Between my having taken a vacation and then heading back to work, and with no Cali there, I didn't want him grieving either, so I decided it was best that I put them down together. It was the hardest thing I've had to do in my life other than say good-bye to Buck. I know it was for the best, but life without Tucker sure isn't easy - even though time has past, my heart is still hung up on him. He definitely was my heart bunny as Kathy Smith would call it.

THANK YOU, though, for the years of great medical advice you had given me and my babies. I'm confident that if it wasn't for you I would've lost him sooner.

Sending much love your way. xo

*hugs* Sounds like you did the most loving thing of all for the two. Sending lots of love your way.

I can't believe I never commented on this before. I'm so sorry for your loss Carolyn, you did what was best for them and it must hav been terribly difficult. I can't believe how many of the old crew has passed away, it makes me very sad. Posts like this remind me how precious my time with Mocha (and Zoey, she's getting older too) is.
