Trimming Angoras face hair?

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this question. I have an angora that, of course, has a lot of hair. Sometimes I wonder how well he can see. Is it common practice to trim the hair around their eyes/face? Or can he see fine on his own. . . ?

For show rabbits - no - it takes too long for the face trimmings to grow back.

For pet rabbits - trim all you want
