To make it more confusing for a new rabbit owner, I just read that new research says that Timothy bases pellets are better than Alfalfa based pellets?

Does anyone use kaytee Fortie-Diet Pro Health?

I believe alfalfa is too high in protein. Im using this

And she loves it. I give her a quarter cup twice a day (its always empty after 3-4 hours.

I also always make sure her timothy hay bowl is stocked at all times, and i use kaytee brand timothy hay

just try to make sure the stuff is fresh too, if its at some little pet store covered in dust you may consider ordering online instead

I think either/or will be fine. Gus is on a mix of Martin's Timothy and Kaytee Timothy Complete.

By middle age, I think alfalfa can become too hard on a rabbit's kidneys, but up till then I think they can handleit just fine. Unless they're prone to being tubby. Then you definitely want to put them on the lower protein timothy. ;)

Hope that helps!
