Hey guys. I need some help. My foster rabbit is very upset and thumping; my mom is babysitting my nephew and I think his crying hurts his ears. It doesn't phase my rabbits though. Anyway, I cannot get her to calm down for the life of me. I tried sitting with her and giving her pets, I tried giving her treats, I tried shutting the door to muffle out the sound and even though the baby has stopped crying, I can't get her to calm down at all. Any ideas?

Would covering the cage with a blanket help? That use to help my bunnies calm down. Just make sure he doesn't eat the blanket. Does he have a place to hide in his cage so he feels safe? Maybe a sound in his room like soft music will help him so he doesn't hear your nephew? Good luck. It is frustrating when they are upset about something and you can't figure out how to help them.
