I want to throw this idea out before I get offline for the day.

I think it would be nice to see the bunny blogs put under the introduction section, and to have the chat about the forum placed under the let your hare down...

It may encourage new members to make blogs and to read others, perhaps encourage members to take a moment to welcome newbiesand the chat about the forum would be more "noticed" by the commonly used "off topic" section.

That's a good idea I think.
