My 11 month old Mini Satin Shino has been enjoying a semi-free range existence for a couple of months now.

Since he has almost the entire bedroom to himself he very rarely uses his cage anymore. I never confine him to it, instead I just close the pen around his cage.

I just moved his litter box out of the cage today to see how he takes it. I'm considering taking is cage out altogether.

this is what he has now:

Any thoughts?

Am by no means qualified really to comment!! but the ramp looks steep ,can you take the cage off the stand? and have it on the floor? I have my 2 buns in a xpened off area and i find that works really well and would recommended it:biggrin2: and he`s gorgeous:inlove:

Thank you!

As for the ramp it was only meant to be a temporary set up for him to get in and out of his cage. He actually seems rather comfortable with it, and use to constantly go up and down. Lately however he would only use it for his food and litter.

Unfortunately the legs don't come off.

I think he might just be happier though if I take the cage away.
