I have a chewer, and I like to refer to her as The Destroyer. She has eaten through every flooring I've ever tried using.
Except for this clear vinyl, why hadn't I thought of it sooner! She can't wrap her lips around it! They can dig at it and not make any dents, and if the edges are outside of the cage and rolled back they can't chew it. It's easy to clean! It's not slick enough that they can't run on it, and I don't have to put anything over it, and it's cheap. Lily loves it because it's cool, and she likes to sleep on the wire of their old cage because it's cold.
Anyway, I'm super thrilled. I get to be thrilled for the whole week I have them until I put them up for adoption, but still. At least I know now, and whoever adopts her wont have to go through the same trial and error.
I don't think it will work on shelves, though. My rabbits have a play pen made of NIC cubes.
