Tea cup ears?

Is it true on a holland lop that you want to look for tea cup ears (not to long around rounded is what I am guessing they mean) or does it matter if they are long but not touching the ground?

Tea "spoon" shaped and extending no more than 1 inch below the jaw line.

A long ear or slipped crown can really detract from the appearance of the head.
