Stopping and eating a stick?

Macey sometimes gets the urge to make a run for the woods. Well, while I'm getting her, she runs all over the place, but there is this one branch/stick thing she always stops out, and starts eating and licking it. She usually tries to run away from me but whenever she finds that stick, she stops and I can grab her.This has happened like 3 times now.Why???

Haven't YOU ever felt the random and extreme need to chew on something? never? maybe it's just me. lol

Perhaps the stick is particularly tasty or has a nice smell to it? Or it could be one of those things that rabbits do that don't make any sense.
