So, I know Piglet is still to young to be spayed/neutered, but I called the vet to get some prices, and they said it was $300 for a spay and about $214 for a neuter. Is this what most vets charge or should I look around for a better price?

You could look around but it can run (depending area) $100-$400.

Yeah thats normal for some areas. My vet only charges 70.00 for a neuter but most vets here charge around 200.00 for a spay.

Do you have any HRS chapters or other rabbit rescues near you? If so, it might be good to call around to local rescues and see if they know anyone who does s/n on rabbits for cheap.

You can usually find neuters for a lot cheaper than spays, since spays are more invasive.

Have you checked our list of rabbit savvy vets? I would check there too and call around to anyone in your area.

Keep us posted! We also have a list of questions to ask a vet in our Bunny 101 if you need help finding one who's rabbit savvy.
