Sore Bum

Hello

My bunny has got what looks like a very sore bum! Can't work out whether it's his anus or wee area... But it seems very swollen and red. I've attached some pictures so you can get the picture!

Any advice on what this could be?!

Just realised its actually around his penis...

Is he is housed with another rabbit, could he have gotten bitten?
You should probably investigate further and see if there is any sign of infection, if there is a broken skin a bite from another rabbit, or if it look seems red and hot inflamed, or if there is a whitish discharge he needs to go to a vet.

Barney was taken to the vets yesterday and they have given him Antibiotics and metacam (which he was already on). She said he may have caught it which has infected it but hopefully the antibiotics will clear it up.

Poor guy! I hope he gets to feeling better soon and it all clears up.
