Hi

I am only new here i live in Australia i have been breeding and showing now for 5 years.

I havebeen told by other breeders as well as an experince of my own bunnies that snuffles (pasturella) isincurable. And that because it spread viver the air, clothes ect it is easier to put the rabbit to sleep.

When we had it we tried everything from baytril twice a day for months at a time to flushing the sinus without success.

Please correct me if i am wrong?

Welcome to the forum! "Snuffles,"which can be caused by more than just pasturella, can be curable in some cases although some buns do have chronic problems. Have you had a culture done to determine which bacteria is causing the infection, and which antibiotic is best? Baytril isn't always the right choice.

Of course, it's different in a breeding situation. There are many more rabbits at risk than in a pet home. I assume you're already doing a lot of disinfecting?
