Snatching food

I just don't know what has got into Rodney, hehas now started snatching his carrots and running off with it. He don'ttake it nicely at all, he just snatches

That sounds just like Baxter!! I haveto be very careful when giving him something yummy because he's liableto take a piece of my finger with it... He'll also steal ayummy veggie from the pile and run around with it in his mouth for afew times around the cage before eating it.

Just make sure to give pieces that are big enough that your finger won't get nipped.

I'm not sure if there's a procedure for teaching buns how to taketreats nicely. If there is, I would love to learn how.

I have snatchers here too. Misty willtake whatever we are giving her, and if it is something particularlyyummy, she holds it in her mouth and runs across the room with it andhides (I have seen her run with an entire cookie held in high in theair... which she stole) .

Snuggy is a snatcher, too, but only with herfavorites. She only runs away with baby carrots or slices ofsweet potato.

LOL, I was killing myself laughing too before I chased her to get itback. I was eating ginger snaps, I decided to give her alittle bite because she was hounding me. So I put it for herto take a little nibble and she yanked and broke off 90% of the cookieand started running...

And as a side note... I do NOT recommend giving your bunnies cookies by the way...
