sick rabbit

Can someone help,my 3 month old rabbit fell illvery suddenly vet thinks he had a virus .We brought him home today andhe still is not right,he is very tired and lethargic and we noticedthis evening that he has two lumpy swellings either side of his jaw isthis normal.We are scared we are losing him.

Sounds like her may have an abcess. You need to take him to the vet.

He has been to the vet,i don,t understand why they did,nt pick that up,if it is an abcess.

does the vet you took your bunny to treat many rabbits? maybe you should try a different one and get a second opinion

Your vet should've have spotten abcess! Theywouldn't just send your bun home and didn't say anything?Iwould switch to another vet or go back down there and ask for anotherappointment! If I'm not already mistaken..don't you have to get yourbun surgery in order to take away the lumps? I'm sorry if I'mincorrect.
