Oh I forgot to mention there is plenty of poop and urine. Chewing seems fine not dropping food or bits. Still perched up on his food bowl for extended periods of time though... Strange behavior for him. Looks like he is falling asleep like that, his eyes still have not been open as wide as usual.

I also forgot to thank everyone for the well wishes and prayers so THANK YOU ALL!!! Your support has really meant a great deal to me.

I'm so glad to hear he's taken a turn for the better! I hope he continues to improve and is back to himself soon :)

Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that Spike has miraculously recovered, back to his old self for no apparent reason. Went to vet today anyway, he DOES have dental problems after all. Vet clipped one tooth but he needs to be put under for another procedure. X rays taken and found something strange in his lung area and vet gave penicillin shot and heavy antibiotics. Our lab test from Loma Linda Animal Hospital was bogus. Vet took one look at the numbers and disregarded the whole test. We were asked to discontinue the meds Loma Linda prescribed. We couldnt get new blood tests as It already cost just under $600 and we are gonna eat top raaman for the next month but at least we are getting somewhere finally. Good lord. If I have any advice to rabbit owners after this it's to get insurance, and start with a rabbit specialist!!! we've blown over $700 on vets who never had a clear diagnosis and we are really just lucky they didn't kill my bun with all their treatments.

I am SO HAPPY to see your post!! YAY for Spike!! I was so worried. I hate hearing about bunnies being sick and not beig able to diagnose what exactly is wrong.

Keep the good posts coming!! :)
