I thought it was easy but i'm almost sure my Delboy is not a boy but a girl, he looks exactly like his sister. Is therean easy way to tell? I can tell on an adult but the younger ones haveconfused me.

I'm Not Too Sure But Males Normally Have LargerHeads Or Ecspecaially(Carnt Spell)Wider Ones...And Wider Noses...BeforeWhen We Had Our ''Planned'' Litter I Just About In Time Seperated TheMale From His Mom If He Was In There Just A WeekLonger:shock:Would Have Been More Babies Lol. But As A HoleLook At The Size Difference In Heads And Boys Also Have Larger BackFeet I Think...

Good Luck

I can't tell that way either cos he is the samesize as his sisters. I tried to look at my 12wk old male and i think ican see little testicles there lol

This thread has some very good links andpictures to telling the difference.Sexingrabbits The little boys bits should look like a doughnut and thelittle girls like a taco shell.:)

ETA: You can't go on whether they have testicles because sometimes they won't drop until a year or more.

Well my boy does not look like the boy in that pic, think i might ask our friend at the pet store lol see what he thinks

Not an accurate way to sex kits ;) I've seen doe kits withhuge heads. Foot size varies widely and is not related to thesex of a rabbit.

You'll also note in young bucks that the perineal span between therectum and genitals is slightly longer. In the does, thegenitalsare closelyattached and open to the rimaround the rectum. This can be helpful in determining casesof split penis, where the buck genitals look like female genitalia.

I always taught my 4-H kids, "Tacos are girls, Donuts are boys" LOL

Does can often be questionable, and in somecases are actually split penis bucks. I've seen cases whereyoung rabbits have gone through a number of judges (6 in one case!) andhad been incorrectly sexed.

Once you've seen the unbroken donut circle of the buck, you can be 99.99999% certain that it's a boy ;)
