HipHop is 13 and 1/2 years old. About a week ago he was able to get around ok in his room, but he now has balance issues and ins unable to stand up on his own for very long. We have to assist him in feeding and drinking. About 6 months ago he developed vestibular disease, but he recovered with just a slight head tilt. He has been getting laser treatments and meloxicam for his arthritis for about a year. Does anyone have similar problems with an elderly rabbit, or any ideas how we can help HipHop?
We do have a rabbit savvy vet, but thought I get some ideas on this forum.
