SEIZURES

There was a posting by VanessaJoyce 2 years ago that I just read regarding her bunny haivng "fits every few months. Racing blindly, running into things, then going to "hide" for a time afterwards. My little guy Henri has been doing the same thing. Vets have no clue. Even took him to Boston's Angel hospital. Still no answers. Is anyone familiar with this problem?

I am so very sorry. I lost my Cinderella a couple months ago to uncontrollable seizures.

Have you discussed the possibility of EC with your vet? Looking back and with the experience I am having with another rabbit now, I think it is a really overlooked condition in rabbits.

There are a couple threads on head tilt going on for more details. Seizures can happen depending on where the paracite is creating damage.

Olivia had seizures and she was treated for EC and has been fine every since. I would definitely talk to the vet about it.

Yeah, I have had all bloodwork and EC testing done. The vets are lost. I am thinking that he needs a scan possibly.
