Scabies?

Hi all,

I'm calling my vet tomorrow about this, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any feedback in the meantime.

My roommate was diagnosed with scabies today. Human scabies are different from animal scabies, right? I'm just a little worried for my babies.

No, they are different mites. I'd be a bit worried about yourself however if I were you. Hope you are ok..

Thanks. I was pretty sure they couldn't and will be calling the vet for verification, but just wanted to see if anyone knew off-hand since she was trying to blame them for giving her the scabies.

We're trying to figure out what our game plan is at the moment. Luckily, we don't really interact with her all that much and she's going to be gone for two weeks. Might just need to vacate the premises for a couple of days :/
