Aw cute bunny maybe you should take him the vet to get checked out he may have an infection

Vets in uk do really little to no rabbit training
I've spoke to breeders who know more and it's not a vet trip but I need advice how to get it clean

We had a rabbit with a gunky eye and the hair around his eye stayed matted. We put a little Terramycin ointment on it and it cleared up. You can usually find it at a feed/livestock store. It's worth a shot. You have to be careful what you use around the eye.

Actually, you have some of the best rabbit specialists there are, in the UK(eg. Francis Harcourt Brown, Molly Varga, John Chitty, to name a few). The sticky discharge could be due to irritation or an infection. You can try keeping the eye washed out with a plain saline eye solution, but if that doesn't clear it up after a few days, there is likely infection involved, and that will require an ophthalmic antibiotic eye drop or ointment. Another possibility is a blocked tear duct, and that would require flushing out by a vet.

If you would like a recommendation for a good rabbit vet near you, I or someone else may know of one, if you want to list your general location.

As I said it was my fault from the bath and thank u guys sooo much fir your concern for my cute bunny but his eye now seems so so much better I can't tell u how happy I am! Will check again tomoz! It was actually my vet that told me vets know nothing on bunnies and I know more than them lol ImageUploadedByRabbit Forum1412709690.375302.jpg
