The rabbits seem quite interested in me cutting roses. their noses are twitching, they are jumping around like crazy. I don't want to give them any until i find out if they can eat them. Nothing on house rabbit society says yes or no.

As long as you haven't put pesticides on them, roses are ok. Obviously I wouldn't give the thorny stems but the leaves, flowers, and hips are quite tasty. I actually give my buns dried rose hips and flowers from the health food store as an occasional treat. I don't know about the flowers but the hips have a lot of vitamins in them.

I know I've seen roses on a couple of safe rabbit food lists but I forget which ones.

Happy eating to your bunnies!
