I'm not sure what readygrass is...can you give me a link to information about it?

Hay is a very important staple in a bun's diet. But I'llcheck to see what I can find about readygrass and let yaknow. :)

Hmm...my browser, for some reason, wouldn't let me open that, link...

But I did browse around on the site, and found what I think you're talking about...

It's Spiller's ReadiGrass, right?

I wish I knew more about it, but I just don't. Is it basically dried grass?

I would say, just to be on the safe side, and tomake absolutely sure your bun is getting ALL the fiber they need (ifthey don't get enough, they could get GI Stasis), continue giving yourbun unlimited hay. To my understanding, regular grass justdoesn't have enough roughage for their digestion.

This isn't a product we have in the US, but Ithink I remember hearing that readigrass is more rich than hay and maycause upset stomachs. I could be wrong. I'drecommend caution for now.

Does the package have nutritional values on it? What are they?

I know that many people feed it safely to theirbuns in small amounts however I also know somebody whose buns got bloatfrom eating it so it can cause stomach upsets.:? You could probablysupplement a small amount in with their normal unlimited hay howeverI'd be very careful feeding it and watch out for any gut problems.

Rabbits love Readigrass and they will probablygobble down the whole pack if they were left to their own devices. BUTit is supposed to be a treat only and it can't be used as a substitutefor hay, it's just too rich. If you are going to feed it to yourrabbits for the first time only give them a very tiny amount to gettheir stomachs used to it.

Ok thanks, my rabbit is used to it anyway as hehas it mixed in with his pellets. I had bought a huge bag full andwasnt sure if he could have it inbetween like the hay but i'll stickwith the hay during the day. All it says on the sack is Pure choppeddried grass with only the water taken out
