Yeuch, why is rabbits urine sohorrible? My Benjamin comes in the house and insists on usinga plastic carrier bag as a litter tray (seriously he won't use anythingelse so we lay a bag out in a corner and he goes!) I just picked a bagup that he'd used and his urine was all thick and gloopy and almostbrown in colour!

My old rabbit used to drink his own urine despite all the cool fresh water that was available.

Sorry for this post being disgusting but I had to get it off my chest -despite it's grossness we still love them bunnies don't we?!

RebeccaUK,

I do understand, but vinegar can pick up the urine quickly. I don'tlike to clean it up, but I figure it's good for my waistline, and itcleans up fast.

The way I see it is that their poops are dry, they don't smell, and they're easy to clean up, so I count my blessings.

:)
