So I've made treats for my rabbit, Jacob, with pumpkin before and was wondering if baby food would be a ok substitute. The kind I have on hand is earths best organic zucchini broccoli medley . Also, I've seen a lot of recipes call for rolled oats/ oatmeal, is it really safe for bunnies? My Jacob is a bit of a big boy and I have to watch his pellet intake since he would eat an entire bag if given the chance. I just don't want to feed him something that could cause diabetis or worse. I just lost a bun to gi stasis which I believe was caused by store bought treats so I just want to go all natural with what I feed Jake. I've even made our dog homemade treats since I'm so paranoid now...
