Rabbit Ear Question

I do not have a lop eared rabbit, but lately his right ear has been lopped over to the side. When I turn it upright, it does not stay. Is this a health issue (he is very old) or just him being ornery?

What is the temperature where your rabbit is at? Is your rabbit scratching at his ears at all, or are there any signs of head tilt or unsteady gait?

Has he suffered any injury on that side? Sometimes injuries can cause one ear to be permanently flopped.

He seems fine other than that. He has been playing outside a lot lately. We have been doing a total house renovation and he has been in the garage for a few weeks to keep him away from all the clutter and loud noises.
