This just popped in my head. Can a rabbit be allergic to other rabbits?
Thank you

A rabbit might APPEAR to be allergic to another rabbit if one or both of the rabbits has fur mites /fleas which has been transferred from one to another.

It would be easier to answer your question if you provided more info. :sunshine:

Not likely. Although there's at least one report of a dog that was allergic to cats (we discussed allergies last week in my classes). The allergens in animals that make humans respond are generally present across the species so if a rabbit was allergic to rabbits, it would be allergic to itself!

There are rabbits that seem to have seasonal allergies though.

Yeah that makes sense. I was just curious. Thanks
