Quick question

Hi,
I posted in a previous thread about some rabbits I help with on a farm nearby. I separated the males from the females (2 and 2) and think the females must be pregnant as I took a third female home and she gave birth 2+ weeks ago.

Yesterday, I picked up the female I suspect of being pregnant and her nipples are protruding and enlarged - not a whole lot like a nursing mom but definitely not tiny little buds. There is no nest building that I can see but do the mother's teats get bigger when birth is close at hand?

I usually notice that. I put a handfull of hay in the cage. If they are close to the due date, they will put it in their mouths and carry it around. You will know for sure, of course if she pulls her hair out. lol Some of my does will pull a tiny bit about a week from the due date.

Yes, that can be an indicator.

Yeah, it dosn't always happen, as some have late milk, but I find that alot of does that are good milk producers have enlarged teats a short while before birth.
