I have a few questions.

1. How old does a rabbit have to be before you can get him neutered?
2.When he is neutered will he still try to mate with females?:?

Im pretty sure the rabbit must be at least 6months old. And they might try to mate with your rabbit ? But I don'tthink they do, I think they pretty much mellow out once they'reneutered.

They definitely mellow out after being neutered, but they still try to mate with the females.

Hi there, As soon as his testicles drop you canhave him neutered. Usually that's between 4 and 6 months old, dependingupon the breed. Yes, he will still try to mate with the girls. In facthe can still get them pregnant, for another 4 to 6 weeks, after he hasbeen neutered. That's about how long it takes for the sperm to die.That's why you have to keep them seperated for that long after thesurgery.
After that, his hormones will simmer down and he'll be calmer. My"guys" still pretend that they can mate and they have all beenneutered. It's a dominence thing! Charlotte
