Kilie and I are new to the group. She is asenior bun, not that it shows. My vet is amazed by her spunk. But whatI want to know is, for the group, what is the average age of your buns?Kilie is almost 10. I love her dearly and I wonder how much longer Iwill have my little bundle of joy.

I worry. She is an amazing little creature.

Most Rabbits live10 years + , a lot has to dowith genetics , care, proper vetting , etc, the better care yougive them the longer the quality oflife will be . I do believe Rabbitgirlhas one conciderably older than 11 yearsold .

During a call home to the fam, my mom made acomment about bring Kilie home for the holidays. She said the familywants to see her one more time. One more time????? GASP!!! So of coursethis is on my mind now.

I told her that Kilie will be the newest family heirlom. That in mywill I will order the family to alternate years taking care of the bun.(laughing)

My very first rabbit lived to be 13 years oldand didn't really show any signs till he was about 12-12.5, and thatwas only being unable to jump very high. He was just a petstore mutt too.
