Hi,

I cannot remember for the life of me at what age it is safe to neuter a boy, and what age for a girl...

Also, at what age has a girl reached sexual maturity?

What breeds? ...makes a difference in how they develop.

Theyare usuallysexually mature at 4 months (16 weeks). You can have them done at any time from that point on. But (obviously... duh...) don't keep them together that long.Bucks and doesneed to be seperated by 10 weeks.

Once,my daughterhad a Mini Rex get pregnant from her brother at 3 months and6 days, counting backwards from her delivery date.(My daughter thought they were both bucks!) The doedelivered just fine, but it was way too young!

I think it also depends on the vets.

Boys CAN be neutered when their balls drop, but often vets prefer to wait a bit until about 5 or so months my vets said. Boys can still make the girls pregnant for over two months after a neuter, so they have to be kept separate from intact ladies for two and a half months or so, unless heavily supervised.

I think girls are about 5 or so months.
