I accidentally missed giving Misty her medication this morning and was wondering if it's a big deal...

I have to give her the medication once every 12 hours. I forgot her dose this morning... so she will get it tonihgt.

Do you think that will make a real difference on how effective it is?

We do that from time to time. We just get back on schedule and give the next scheduled dose at the correct time. We don't make up for the missing dose.

So if I am supposed to give the medication for 10 dayse (so that would have been 20 doses)... do I now give it to her for 10.5 days (stick to 20 doses over a longer time), or just give it to her for the 10 days (which is now 19 doses).

I know I am probably overthinking this...

:)

Thanks Randy!!!

Yes, that's what I would do - same as you would with giving yourself a pill or a child their antibiotic.
