pulling ears

Hello all,

My rabbit pulls on his own ears quite a lot. He is a flemish giant who is about 7-8 months old. He pulls them down to his face and then sort of brushes them over and over with his paws and maybe nibbles the ends. He does it all the time. He and I are still working on bonding. He lets me pet him whenever I want but he is not a big fan of me picking him up or touching his ears so I have not been doing that so I have not checked in his ears to see if there are ear mites. I am taking him to the vet in a couple of weeks but just thought I would check.

yes, that is it. He just does it ALL the time so I was worried he might have mites. LOL.

Yep, rabbits are brilliant cleaners! They spend a large majority of their day cleaning and eating!
