Potty issue

Ok to start off Leon is a free roam bunny from day one. He would pee only in his cage and do his other duties in and out of his cage but here recently he's hardly peeing and pooping in the cage the poo i don't mind much as its easy to clean but he's peeing everywhere and i have carpet floors. What would make him start peeing out of his box? I don't want to but i might have to put him in a cage and only let him out to play for four hours or so.

at 24 weeks, he's definitely hormonal by now - neutering would probably fix the issues

Agree that neutering is in order now to improve litterbox habits.
