potatoes?

I have some red potatoes here, and I think I have too many. Are they ok for the buns too?

They aren't the best thing. Definitely they have to be cooked and no skins or eyes.

Potato eyes, new shoots, & green parts are on the toxic list.

This would be enough for me to avoid giving any part to my buns.

Actually they can be fedto rabbits.Some European commercial rabbitries (10,000+ rabbits) use them regarly.I have fed slices of raw paotato as a treat on occasion, usually whentrying to entice a finicky eater to eat. BUT as they are high incarbohydrates they must be used in moderation to prevent carbohydrateoverload of the hindgut, which canleadtoEnterotoxemia.

Small amounts wont hurt, if she likes it, some of mine wont ouch it, others gobbel it up
