Poo party

Ok so I let my baby boy buns have the spare room to free range in always. Their cages have food and water etc and litter trays. Thing is, in the cage they use their litter trays but when free roaming it's nothing short of a poo party and I don't know what to do!

It sounds like they're trying to mark their territory to me. My bunny does the same when I let her out! Maybe putting a litter box outside of their cages would help?
