So we have a Christmas tree and Poppet is in love with it! She keeps jumping of the armchair to get close to it. I have a barricade so she can't get close to the base/plug for the lights. And unlike this picture she can't get close enough to eat it or the lights anymore but how bad are the pine needles to her?

It would depend on how many she decides to eat. Best to get her to not eat any, better safe then sorry. Darn christmas season...
I dont think a few here and there will do much harm but alot could cause some issues. But no experience with bunnys eating trees here.

IF you're completely sure the tree hasn't been treated with something, sprayed on or in the water [flame retardant etc], a small amount should be ok.
