I feed the walmart pellets and have never had a problem

I will be getting a bag of pellets from a farmer supply place soon but I like that I can fall back on the walmart brand since my buns have never had problems with it, I keep reading that it's not the best to feed but my vet doesn't have a problem with the brand and I have a clean billnof health on my girls and my buck coal.
When I switch to the farmer supply brand should I mix with the walmart stuff at first? Or would it be similar with no need to mix?

It's always a good idea to do a gradual transition when changing foods. Make it a 7 or 10 day transition. Start by adding a tablespoon or two of the new food and removing the same amount of the old food and mix it up. Then everyday add a bit more new food and a bit less old food until you're just feeding the new stuff. Watch for poop changes as you go along. If you see any, back up a bit and slow down the change.
