Till today I couldn't understand why they would pee out and poop in the box. I happened to be watching when the young buck hopped into the box and took a leak. The whole stream shot directly outside the box. Guess I should try and bigger and deeper box.

Sounds like what my grandmother's cat will do. She'll get into the box, but back up so far that her feet and body are in the box, but her butt is hanging off the end. Her poops are at that point, landing on the floor.

At least you can give them points for trying. :biggrin2:I think Toby is doing the same thing, since there is always a puddle under the litterbox.

I use the high backed corner ones. I think they contain it very well
This is a great suggestion, one I would choose if I had this problem. But also, how old is this "young buck"? If not yet neutered, this could just be spraying, which will stop once neutered.;)
